-Dr. Koubeissi is board-certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Epilepsy.
-He is an Associate Professor of Neurology and the Director of the Epilepsy Center at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
– Dr. Koubeissi has started new lines of research projects in epilepsy and published his findings in major medical journals.
He has lectured on the medical and surgical treatment of intractable epilepsy all over the Unites States as well as in Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
-Dr. Koubeissi has earned a number of honors, including the 2012 Innovation Award from Case Western Reserve University’s School of Engineering for his ground-breaking research on deep brain stimulation for the treatment of intractable epilepsy.
-He is a member of many medical and scientific societies, and is a Fellow of both the American Neurological Association and the American Academy of Neurology.
