Do you wait for the Prophet of this time? Do you want to know his identity? Then you

Do you wait for the Prophet of this time? Do you want to know his identity?

Then you want to know Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

1- Prophet Muhammad Is Mercy for Mankind

And We (God) have not sent you (Muhammad) except as a mercy for mankind.” (Quran 21-107) (1)

Many sayings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) emphasize the relationship between belief and action. For example,

He who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him not harm his neighbour; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him show hospitality to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him speak good or remain silent.” (Hadith) (2)

Muhammad the final Messenger of God taught humans to show mercy and to respect each other,

He who is not merciful to people Allah will not be merciful to him.” (Hadith) (3)

In another narration, some people tried to convince  the prophet (peace be upon to him) saying: Invoke curse upon the polytheists, whereupon he said:

I have not been sent as the invoker of curse, but I have been sent as mercy.” (Hadith) (4)

2- Prophet Muhammad LifeStyle

This is Mohammad, the simple and humble character. I saw him in his home washing his clothes, patching his garment, milking his sheep, and mending his sandal.

Moreover, I saw him eating with his servants, visiting the sick, and helping the needy. I saw him praying with his grandsons climbing his back while he is prostrating without preventing them. Then when he stood up, he carried them while continuing his prayer.

Also, he was the embodiment of love and kindness. He loved the humans and the animals… and even the plants took their share from his mercy and tenderness as he recommended that no tree should be cut… Not to mention the inanimate objects which had a portion of his mercy and tenderness as he said about the mountain of Uhud:

Uhud is a mountain which loves us and which we love.” (Hadith) (5)

This was such a GREAT man who never wanted to be overpraised. He was such a generous man who was described by his companions as spending like the one who has no fear of poverty. It has never happened that he saved even one single dirham.

He died, as it is known, while his armor was in pledge with a Jew. Also, he never ate a full stomach. He never tasted the barley bread for two consecutive days.

However, he used to accept the gifts of delicious food and soft clothes that came to him. But, he never pursued thought or preoccupied himself with such soft life. Therefore, he trained and disciplined himself for poverty, hunger, moderation in desires and demands to be an example and an excellent pattern for what Islam teaches. This is the religion of moderation and a middle course. To illustrate, there is neither monasticism nor killing oneself. There is no suppression or unlawful release of lusts and desires.

 Conclusion

Finally, As well as calling people to pray, fast and give charity, the Prophet (peace be upon to him) taught that one’s faith in  God should also affect one’s treatment with others. He said,

The best of you in Islam is the best of you in character when they possess understanding (of the deen).”(Hadith) (6),(7)

This is the Prophet Muhammad the Prophet of our time, Do you want to follow him?
