A True Love Story with no Pain – Part I

The Prophets And the Clear Message

It’s fair enough for a manufacturer to offer clear manuals explaining what he created. Yet, a “Loving” manufacturer also sends with those manuals teachers who deal with kindness and patience to clarify the purpose of what he created.

This is the example of the books and the prophets sent by God.

The prophets are indeed great examples of people who experienced true love with all their hearts.

Guess what makes a man like Abraham ready to slaughter his son except for love?!

Or what makes Moses go to advise a super cruel murderer like Pharaoh?!

It’s the power of love that filled the hearts of those PROPHETS.

The Prophets Chapter in Qur’an

“The Prophets” is the name of a chapter in the last message sent by God to his creation, the Qur’an.

I decided to reflect on it with you as I believe it contains answers to lots of our thoughts and questions.

It starts with a warning message to all people:

[The time of] their account has approached for the people, while they are in heedlessness turning away.[Quran 21:1] (1)

No mention comes to them anew from their Lord except that they listen to it while they are at play.”  [Quran 21:2] (2)

With their hearts distracted. And those who do wrong conceal their private conversation, [saying], “Is this [Prophet] except a human being like you?” [Quran 21:3] (3)

This is the case of many people, they don’t want to listen, and if they listen, their hearts are distracted!

Yes, God knows that and knows your thoughts right now.

He (The Prophet) said : ‘ My Lord knows whatever is said throughout the heaven and earth, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing’.”  [Quran 21:4] (4)

Why don’t you turn to Him alone and ask Him sincerely for guidance?!

This book is sent to you! This book is mentioning you, your doubts, thoughts, sorrows, and hopes.

These are not my words; these are God’s words in verse 10.

We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention. Then will you not reason?”  [Quran 21:10] (5)

And look at verse 16 which directly replies to you when you wonder about the purpose of your creation and your life; when you think it’s all for fun and pastime.

God replies:

And We did not create heaven and earth and that between them in play.” [Quran 21:16] (6)

Had We intended to take a diversion, We could have taken it from [what is] with Us – if [indeed] We were to do so.” [Quran 21:17] (7)

That Is Powerful, Isn’t It?

These are the words of God, the Powerful over all creation.

To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those near Him are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, nor do they tire.” [Quran 21:19] (8)

They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken.” [Quran 21:20] (9)

So, indeed He doesn’t need your worship, but you and every single creature need Him.

However, He is sending you messages out of Love and Care. His messages can’t be denied.

Genuine Messages from True God

Or have they taken gods besides Him? Say, [O Muhammad], ‘Produce your proof. This [Qur’an] is the message for those with me and the message of those before me.’ But most of them do not know the truth, so they are turning away.”  [Quran 21:24] (10)

How could there be other Gods besides Him?

How could there be more than one creator?!

How could there be more than one, unique, powerful, and self-sufficient God?!

Those who worship other gods, can you produce proof?!

And Now, It’s Your Turn

I can guess now that you ask yourself:

but why especially the Qur’an?

Why Islam in specific?

I believe in God, isn’t it enough?!

Here, He replies in the next verse:

And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, ‘There is no deity except Me, so worship Me.”

[Quran 21:25] (11)

See, the message is one by all the Prophets.

It’s the universal message to all people at all times.

And they say, ‘The Most Merciful has taken a son.’ Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants; They said that, not God! Exalted is He.

[Quran 21:26] (12)

How about Atheists?

Are they mentioned here in the chapter?

Indeed 🙂

Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?”

[Quran 21:30] (13)

After God confirms His oneness and His exaltation to have a son, He talks to people who totally deny Him by evidence from their recent discoveries 🙂

Don’t you say that the heavens and earth were one entity, like smoke, and there was a big bang that made the universe?

God says I AM THE ONE who separated them!

Don’t you say that water is the source of every living thing?

Look, God revealed that, more than 1440 years ago, through his illiterate prophet who lived in the desert! Peace be upon Him and upon all the Prophets 🙂

So, won’t you believe it?!

Conclusion

This is the Prophets Chapter. It clarifies the manual of the “Loving” Manufacturer through genuine messages speaking about God’s oneness, scientific evidence, and some practical examples for the Prophets. Won’t you follow THE PROPHETS?
