99th Names Of GOD: The Highest Potentate(al-Jabbar)

Have you suffered from injustice before, and you can’t stop it just because you don’t know a high-positioned

Have you suffered from injustice before, and you can’t stop it just because you don’t know a high-positioned person? Are you a victim of any kind of racism?

If so, what do you feel? What is your urgent wish? Magnificent power could be?

World Today

Unfortunately, it is common today to find millions of people struggle against injustice, face famines, feel depression, get imprisoned for no reason, have no shelters, leaving their countries for lack of human conditions, or even face massacres.

Burma

One of the example clarifying such catastrophes is Burma. According to Human Rights Watch reports:

The Burmese military summarily executed several dozen Rohingya Muslims in Maung Nu village in Burma’s Rakhine State on August 27, 2017. Witnesses said that Burmese soldiers had beaten, sexually assaulted, stabbed, and shot villagers who had gathered for safety in a residential compound.

The United Nations Security Council met to discuss Burma publicly for the first time in eight years, but took no action.

Over 500,000 Rohingya Muslims have fled to Bangladesh to escape mass atrocities by Burmese security forces.

Is There God

All that may cause confusion to some people. If there is a God, why all of that happen?

In his book “There Is a God,” Antony Flew discussed this point. He states that as reason and intellect prove God existence, then we should discuss His Attributes, not His existence.

In this series, we have known that Allah is Wise, and that life is just a test; it is not the whole story.

Allah the AlMighty says,

Do the people think that they will be left to say, “We believe” and they will not be tried? But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.

Quran(29:2-3)

Know Him

Among the Attributes of Allah is that He is” the Highest Potentate.” The Arabic origin of this word implies the meaning of reformation. Allah fixes the things for His creatures. Also, this word means to be very strong and All Great.

Unless being confident of such Contributes, one can turn depressed to see injustice everywhere. The Islamic point of view enables the people to be confident about the future, and to be optimistic even in the darkest moments.

To clarify, read this:

One of the Prophet companions says:

We complained to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) (of the persecution inflicted on us by the infidels) while he was sitting in the shade of the Ka`ba, leaning over his Burd (i.e. covering sheet). We said to him, “Would you seek help for us? Would you pray to Allah for us?” He said, “Among the nations before you a (believing) man would be put in a ditch that was dug for him, and a saw would be put over his head and he would be cut into two pieces; yet that (torture) would not make him give up his religion. His body would be combed with iron combs that would remove his flesh from the bones and nerves, yet that would not make him abandon his religion. By Allah, this religion (i.e. Islam) will prevail till a traveler from Sana (in Yemen) to Hadrarmaut will fear none but Allah, or a wolf as regards his sheep, but you (people) are hasty. [Al Bukhari]

Of course, this prophetic prophecy happened decades after him. Injustice can never last forever.

Application

Surely, Islam is of positivity. We have role in this life.

  • Help honestly to fix the problems as much as possible.
  • Help the homeless people and those under hard conditions.
  • Be confident of Allah Ability to destroy tyrants.

To conclude, this spirit may be strange in this materialistic world, but the only solution to end the crises of this world is:

Search for humanity, search for happiness, search for Islam!
