My little sister and I want to surprise our parents with a gift, to tell them that we love them and are grateful to them. Kindness to parents is coupled in the Qur’an with the most important pillar of Islam: worshipping God alone. This indicates that honoring, respecting, and being kind to our parents is extremely important in the way of life that Islam stipulates.
